GAIA Island of Dogs is an eco style dog rescue shelter based in Bali, Indonesia. With the continuous struggles of the street dog problem in Bali, we are here to rescue dogs in need, provide much needed vet care, love and patience to get abandoned and neglected dogs back to health. Proud to be sterilising and saving.

In August 2024 we added a new Program GAIA ISLAND OF DOGS STERILISATION PROGRAM! This program works with our chosen vets to sterilise as many dogs either breed dogs or Bali Dogs, we don’t care a dog is a dog! Our sponsor is amazing and has offered to sponsor us, she wishes to remain anonymous. This program will sterilise thousands of dogs. We will do small numbers in villages and we will do big numbers on beaches wherever it’s needed. Sterilisation is the most important thing we can do on this island, to many puppies getting born into a doomed life of hell, we must stop this, we must stop the disease TVT that causes these dogs immense pain and suffering and the only way we can do this is through STERILISATION. We're so proud that since we started in August 2024, we have now sterilised 6,000 dogs and counting.
